Aalisha Bhatt
Aalisha Bhatt is a sophomore at New York University's Stern School of Business and the inspiration behind the organization. At Stern, she is a part of the BS in Business program with a double concentration in Accounting and Finance. She is also a member of the Undergraduate Stern Women in Business Club. She is currently a summer investment operations intern at Thornburg Investment Management. She is an avid tennis and golf player. She has also learned Kathak, a form of Indian classical dance that communicates stories through this dance and music. She is proficient in English and Gujarati and can understand Hindi and German.
She attended Albuquerque Academy and graduated with the class of 2021. During her time at Academy, she was a member of the Albuquerque Academy’s Community Service Executive Board and volunteered over 600 hours at various charitable organizations during her free time. She also was captain and a member of the Junior Varsity tennis team for five years. She was a member of the Student Board of Directors for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City for the 2019-2020 school year. This board prepares students to become knowledgeable citizens by increasing their understanding of economics, finance, and occupational topics. She coached middle school tennis at the Albuquerque Academy for two seasons. She was also a part of the A+ Academic Coaching staff. As a tutor for High School Students, she tutored high schoolers for the SAT and ACT along with proctoring practice tests. She has interned at Desai Capital Management.
